San Francisco Fleet Week
Fleet Week happened from Friday the 11th to Sunday the 13th. I managed to see most of the planes and jets such as the F-22 Raptor, P-51 Mustang, and T-33. “The Patriots,” flying the L-39 Albatros, did a patriotic (hence the name) air show, making red, white and blue smoke trails. The American flag colors… or French depending on where you were. The best part of Fleet Week was the Blue Angels, the pièce de résistance of the airshow. Flying their F/A-18 Super Hornet, and Fat Albert in a Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules. It was SUPER loud there, even at the Tunnel Tops where I was at. I spoke louder not realizing I was because I lost some of my hearing. A car alarm went off when the F-22 flew over head, which was funny. Something else that was funny was a bicycle with not one, not two, but THREE American flags on top of another. Luckily none of them blew off when the jets flew over head. You can find a list of the planes at the airshow at https://fleetweeksf.org/air-show/air-show-schedule/.
