MUNI recently restarted the L Taraval as a MUNI Metro route after being run by buses due to road repairs. The COVID 19 shutdown that happened a while back caused the road repairs to be delayed. They finished the road work last month and MUNI gave back the Light Rail Vehicles back to the route. It’s Fleet Week here in San Francisco so expect to hear loud booms from above. So far we’ve seen the Blue Angles, P-18 Mustangs, the United plane, a plane that we believe is the F-14 or an F-18 Super Hornet, and a propeller plane that we couldn’t identify. Down by the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, there is a MASSIVE aircraft carrier. The USS Hornet. SFUSD is having budget problems. They are going to close some elementary and middle schools across SF. This is going to get some students and parents mad because they might be forced to go to a school they didn’t want and because they’ll be at a new, possibly scary school and they won’t know a single person there. The donut place called Bob’s on Baker Street, which is just Bob’s Donuts, has this challenge where if you eat a donut the size of a steering wheel in 2 minutes or less, you get a dozen donuts for free. Of course, this may change after writing this. This year, 2024, marks the 5th anniversary of The Daily Donut. This means that we’ve been traveling the world since 2019.
